First settled in 1606, Jamestown anchors one corner of Virginia's historic triangle. The battlefields of Yorktown, where British General Cornwallis surrendered ending the Revolutionary War sits in the opposite corner. Centerpiece of the triangle is the reconstructed city of Williamsburg, capitol of the colony of Virginia. This area is worthy of visiting at any time of year, however there is something extra special about the Christmas season in this historic community.
